Lorient
Marseille will look to make amends for a 2-0 loss to Lille when they host Lorient to their Stade Velodrome on Sunday evening. OM have been struggling in the Ligue 1 ever since Dimitri Payet suffered a calf injury, and, to make things even worse for the fans, Turkey international Cengiz Under is banned for the hosts. In his absence, a man to watch in the home team will be Senegal international Bamba Dieng.
Les Merlus, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Clermont. Lorient are not regarded as good travelers, but seeing that the hosts are without key players, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. It has to be noted that important midfielder Laurent Abergel returns from suspension for the visiting side, while Adrian Grbic and Jeremy Morel remain in the recovery room.

After starting his senior career at Sparta Rotterdam, Kevin Strootman joined fellow Dutch side Utrecht in 2011. The defensive midfielder, who was born on February 13, 1990 in Ridderkerk, Netherlands, then moved to PSV where he established himself as a first-team regular. Strootman was then spotted by AS Roma scouts and in 2013 he decided to take a step forward in his career by joining the Giallorossi.
On March 9, 2014, the Dutch footballer sustained a serious knee injury that made him miss the remainder of the 2013/2014 Serie A season. He missed the 2014 FIFA World Cup as well, but he returned to contention on November 9, 2014. Kevin Strootman played for Roma until August 28 when he signed a five-year contract with Olympique Marseille.
Speaking of his international career, Strootman made his Netherlands debut against Austria in 2011 and he scored his first ever goal for the Dutch national team in Euro 2012 qualifier against Finland. Kevin Strootman’s preferred foot is right.

Founded back in 1926, Lorient is a French football club that competes in Ligue 1. Les Merlus have yet to win the Ligue 1 trophy, but they did well to go all the way in the Coupe de France in the 2001/02 season. In the title game, Lorient defeated Bastia thanks to Jean-Claude Darcheville’s goal.
The same season les Merlus made it to the Coupe de la Ligue final, but Bordeaux proved to be a big catch (0-3) for them in the title game. Lorient welcome their rivals at Stade du Moustoir, the stadium which can hold up to 16,392 spectators. The colour of the team’s home shirt is orange with a little black on it, while white is the dominant colour of their away jersey. In the 2002/03 season Lorient represented France in European competitions.
