Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Verona and Lazio go head to head at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in a highly-anticipated Serie A game. The Mastini produced a fine display at Stadio San Siro at the weekend, but Milan eventually scored three goals in the second half to claim the victory. Verona are eager to get back on course as soon as possible, but, no doubt, they would be happy with one point from Sunday’s clash as well.
Frabotta is out of contention through injury, but he should be the only absentee in the home team. The Biancocelesti, on the other hand, head into the match with a severely-weakened squad as both Acerbi and Luiz Felipe are banned for the match. Since Lazio are not regarded as good travelers, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. As always, Ciro Immobile will lead the line for the visitors.
Highlighted Player (Kevin Ruegg):
Kevin Ruegg is a FC Zurich product. Ruegg was born in Uster, Switzerland on August 5, 1998 and he made his senior debut with FC Zurich on February 26 in a 4-1 win over Wohlen. The Swiss footballer made only nine appearances for der Stadtclub in the Challenge League, but he established himself as a first-team regular in the 2017/2018 Super League campaign.
Kevin Ruegg made 31 appearances for FC Zurich in the Swiss top flight, providing three assists for his teammates in the process. His main position is full-back, but he is used as defensive midfielder and central midfielder as well.
The 173-cm tall footballer wears No. 22 jersey at FC Zurich and his preferred foot is right. Kevin Ruegg has four caps for the Switzerland U19 team and he made his debut for the Switzerland U21 team on September 5, 2017 in a 1-1 draw with Romania in the Euro U21 qualifiers.
Highlighted Team (Lazio):
Lazio Roma are an Italian football club based in Rome. Lazio were founded in 1900 and they compete in the Serie A. The Biancocelesti (The White and Sky Blues) have won two Serie A trophies (1973/1974, 1999/2000), while lifting six Coppa Italia titles.
The capital club play their home games at Stadio Olimpico and Roma are regarded as Lazio’s main rivals.
The two teams face each other in the Derby della Capitale and it is considered the fiercest inter-city derby in Italy. Lazio won UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup in 1999, with the team beating Mallorca in the title game. The same year they managed to clinch the UEFA Super Cup trophy as they outplayed English giants Manchester United at Stade Louis II, Monaco.
The likes of Pavel Nedved, Giuseppe Favalli, Juan Sebastian Veron, Sinisa Mihajlovic, Roberto Mancini, Giuseppe Signori, Miroslav Klose and Simone Inzaghi are notable footballers who played for Lazio in the past.
