Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
Estadio Nuevo Carlos Tartiere will host Thursday’s La Liga 2 game between Real Oviedo and Burgos. Los Azules have drawn each of their previous five league fixtures, but it seems as if their displays are much better than the performances. Summer signing Borja Baston will almost certainly sneak into the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in the 1-1 draw with Real Sociedad B.
Burgos, on the other hand, are not regarded as good travelers, and seeing that they failed to find the net in four of their previous five away games in La Liga 2, we believe that there is a big value in betting on los Azulones. It has to be noted that Real Oviedo defeated Burgos in each of their last four meetings in competitive matches. Under 2.5 goals have been netted in each of Burgos’ last five league fixtures.
Highlighted Player (Alejandro Arribas ):
Born in Madrid, Spain on May 1, 1989, Alejandro Arribas is a Spanish footballer who plays for Real Oviedo in La Liga 2. Arribas is a very experienced defender as he played for Primera Division sides Rayo Vallecano, Osasuna, Deportivo La Coruna and Sevilla in the past.
He is a product of Rayo Majadahonda football school, but he did not see any game action with the club at senior level. Alejandro Arribas played for Mexican club UNAM before signing a three-year deal with Real Oviedo in the summer of 2019.
He made his debut with los Azules in a 2-1 loss to Fuenlabrada on August 31, 2019. The towering defender has never received a call-up for the Spain national football team. His main position is centre-back, but he can be used as a right-back as well if needed. The right-footed footballer has a contract with Real Oviedo until June 30, 2021.
