Faroe Islands
Denmark will be aiming to keep their 100% record in Group F intact when they host Faroe Islands to Parken Stadium. The Danes are enjoying a very successful World Cup qualifying campaign, and thanks to a hard-fought 1-0 win over Austria they booked their place at the next year’s showpiece tournament. Barcelona attacker Braitwaite remains in the recovery room, while Nice striker Dolberg has been left out of the squad.
Leipzig attacker Poulsen, who found the net in a 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund at the weekend, is widely expected to lead the line for the hosts. The minnows, on the other hand, suffered back-to-back defeats to Austria and Scotland in October, and given their shaky defence, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. You should bear in mind that Denmark are eyeing their sixth consecutive win over Denmark in all competitions.

Standing at 6ft 2-inches, the tall forward kicked-off his youth career with GFG Voel in Denmark in 2005 and spent five years with them before joining hometown club Silkeborg IF at the age of 13. At Silkeborg, Dolberg quickly rose through the ranks and made his professional debut on the 17th of May, 2015, as a 66th substitute against Brondby in the Danish Superliga.
At the start of the 16/17 season, Dolberg signed for Eredivisie giants AFC Ajax on a three-year deal after impressing the clubs' renowned scouting network. He scored his first professional goal on the 26th of July, 2016, in Ajax's 1-1 draw with PAOK Thessaloniki in a UEFA Champions League Qualifier match. In what was a prolific spell at de Godenzonen, Dolberg made 119 appearances and scored 45 goals for the club. Born on the 6th of October, 1997, the 22-year-old is currently on a five-year contract with French club Nice that in August 2019.
Dolberg is additionally a former Denmark youth International, having represented his country at every youth level. For the senior team, the striker made his debut on the 11th of November, 2016, and has earned 13 caps so far.

Faroe Islands gained membership of FIFA on July 2, 1988 and they played their first official game on August 24 against Iceland. They were beaten by the Icelanders in Akranes, but two years later they recorded probably the most significant victory in the history of the national team as they defeated Austria 1-0 in Euro 1992 qualifiers.
Faroe Islands have yet to qualify for a major tournament, but they have been making progress year by year. The Landsliðið play their home games at Torsvollur and the capacity of the venue is 6.000. Faroe Islands recorded their biggest win against Gibraltar on March 1, 2014 (4-1) and they suffered their biggest defeat in 1996 when they were beaten 8-1 by Yugoslavia in front of home fans.
In the 2016 European Championship qualifiers Faroe Islands recorded a double victory over Greece, but the minnows eventually failed to book their place at the showpiece tournament in France. The likes of Frodi Benjaminsen, Oli Johannesen, Rogvi Jacobsen, Todi Jonsson and Jakup Mikkelsen are the most notable footballers who played for the Faroe Islands national team.
