Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Following a routine 4-0 win over Cagliari, Inter will be aiming to retain top position in the standings when they take on Salernitana on Matchday 18. The Nerazzurri are on a five-game winning run in the Serie A, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as hot favourites to win Friday’s clash. Both Darmian and Correa are sidelined with injuries, while Bosnia international Edin Dzeko should be recalled to the starting XI.
Salernitana, on the other hand, do not seem to be competitive at this level, with the team collecting only 8 points in total. The rock-bottom side have been struggling at the back of late, and they are unlikely to claim a major scalp on day 18. To make things even worse for the hosts, all Ruggeri, Coulibaly, Strandberg, Zortea, and Capezzi are out of contention through injuries.
