After suffering a 2-0 loss to Arminia Bielefeld on Tuesday, Bochum will look to return to winning waysh when they welcome Union Berlin to their Vonovia Ruhrstadion on Matchday 17. Bochum produce much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team recording three wins in the previous four home fixtures. Keep in mind, though, that all Takuma Asano, Tom Weilandt, and Eduard Lowen have been tested positive for coronavirus.
The capital club, on the other hand, played out a boring goalless draw with Freiburg on Wednesday evening. Union Berlin aim to move closer to the Champions League berth, but seeing that Bochum are tough to beat at home, we believe that there is a big value in betting on draw. Both Jakob Busk and Marvin Friedrich have been tested positive for coronavirus, while Laurenz Dehl misses out with injury.

The German defender made his Bundesliga debut on September 13, 2014 in a 4-1 loss to Borussia M’gladbach. Nowadays Friedrich plays for Union Berlin as he signed a permanent deal with the Bundesliga side on July 5, 2019. His main position is centre-back, but he is capable of producing fine performances as both left and right back as well.
Friedrich’s contract with Union Berlin expires on June 30, 2022. The versatile defender has yet to make his debut with the Germany senior team, but he has four caps with Germany U20 and three with Germany U19 respectively.
