There will be fireworks when Chelsea and Liverpool face each other at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League derby. Both teams aim to stay in the title race, but the bookies see Jurgen Klopp’s troops as favourites to win the match. The Reds aim to make amends for an unlucky loss to Leicester City, and they should continue to rely on Mohamed Salah, who failed to convert a penalty in the midweek loss.
Andy Robertson remains on the sidelines through suspension, while all Harvey Elliott, Divock Origi, and Nathaniel Phillips are out of contention through injuries. The Blues, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Brighton. Chelsea do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the first game of the year, which is probably the main reason why away win should be considered. N’Golo Kante is pushing for a start, while all Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, and Timo Werner continue to miss out for the capital club.
