Monday’s football game between Man Utd and Wolverhampton will bring down the curtain on day 21 of the current Premier League campaign. The Red Devils aim to stay in the Champions League race, and they are likely to go all guns blazing at the Wolves. Bruno Fernandes is back from suspension, while Paul Pogba continues to miss out through injury. As always, Cristiano Ronaldo will lead the line for the hosts.
Wolverhampton, on the other hand, made a slow start to the season, but they have been producing fine displays in the Premier League ever since. Considering that Manchester United have yet to find their best form, we are tempted to put our money on draw. All Neto, Jonny, Mosquera, and Hwang are injured for the visiting team. Manchester United scouts spotted him and one year later he joined the Old Trafford outfit. Ronaldo became the most expensive teenager in the history of the Premier League and he received the number 7 shirt. He quickly established himself as the team’s key player and it has to be noted that he won three consecutive Premier League trophies with the Red Devils (2006/2007, 2007/2008, 2008/2009). In 2008 he helped the Old Trafford outfit beat Chelsea in the Champions League final, scoring for Alex Ferguson’s troops in the regular time.
Ronaldo joined Real Madrid in 2009 and he helped the Spanish giants with two Champions League trophies. In 2016 he won the European Championship trophy with Portugal. The Real Madrid ace has two Golden Ball awards (2013, 2014).

Wolverhampton are a club that was originally known as St. Luke’s FC. The Wolves play in the Championship and they were founded in 1877. Molineux is the home ground of Wolverhampton and the capacity of the stadium is 31,700. Wolverhampton have won four FA Cup trophies (1893, 1908, 1949, 1960), with the team lifting the League Cup trophy in 1974 and 1980.
The colour of the club’s shirts is orange and they wear black shorts. The Wolves wear blue jerseys when playing away from home. Wolverhampton’s main rivals are West Bromwich Albion and they have been facing each other in the Black Country derby since 1888. In their first meeting in the local derby WBA recorded a 1-0 win over Wolves.
