Etihad Stadium will host Saturday’s Premier League derby between Manchester City and Tottenham. The Citizens are on the right track to defend their title, but they can’t afford any complacency in the remainder of the season. Kevin de Bruyne was rested in a 4-0 win over Norwich City, but the Belgium international should start against Spurs, as well as Rodri and Kyle Walker. Gabriel Jesus, though, remains in the recovery room.
The capital club suffered a dip in form, with the team losing to all Chelsea, Southampton, and Wolverhampton in the previous three league fixtures. Spurs are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Manchester, and they are unlikely to spoil the Citizens’ party at Etihad Stadium. Sterling, who was born in Kingston, Jamaica, holds both the English and Jamaican citizenship but chose to represent England at the International stage. The 24-year-old has capped at every youth level and won his first cap for the senior team on the 14th of November, 2012. He has since featured 53 times for the Three Lions.
