Sunderland will be aiming to put an end to their four-game winless run when they take on fellow promotion-chasing MK Dons in the League One derby. The Black Cats suffered a dip in form, with the team collecting only one point in total from the previous four league fixtures, but Saturday’s game could be the turning point for the hosts. Important midfielder Lynden Gooch remains on the sidelines with injury, while veteran attacker Jermain Defoe should once again start from the bench.
The Dons, on the other hand, are five points behind automatic promotion berth. Liam Manning’s troops are undefeated in the previous five league fixtures, and, taking everything into account, we predict that they will hold Sunderland to a draw at Stadium of Light.
