Our prediction for this Serie A match:
All eyes will be on Stadio Olimpico when Lazio and Napoli face each other in the Serie A derby. The Biancocelesti have been producing fine displays in 2022, but they are still seen as underdogs in Sunday’s derby. Ciro Immobile should lead the line for the hosts after missing the Udinese game (1-1) through illness, while Pedro has joined Lazzari in the recovery room.
As always, a man to watch in the home team will be Serbia superstar Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. The Partenopei, on the other hand, dropped two points in a 1-1 draw with Cagliari. The title-chasing visitors are eager to return to winning ways in the Serie A, and given Lazio’s attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered. All Malcuit, Zambo Anguissa, Lobotka, and Lozano are likely to miss the game with injuries, speaking of the away side.
Highlighted Player (Manuel Lazzari):
Born in Valdagno, Italy on November 29, 1993, Manuel Lazzari is a midfielder who plays for Serie A side SPAL. Lazzari played for the youth teams of Montecchio Maggiore at the start of his football career and in 2011 he moved to Delta Rovigo.
After spending the 2011/2012 season at the club, Manuel Lazzarri joined Giacomense in the summer of 2012 and it has to be noted that he made 24 appearances in the league for the club. At the end of the 2012/2013 season the 174-cm-tall footballer moved to SPAL and he quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the club.
Manuel Lazzari had seven assists in 39 appearances for SPAL in the 2016/2017 Serie B campaign and, no doubt, he helped the club secure promotion to the Italian elite division. His main position is right midfield, but he can play as both right-back and right winger if needed. Manuel Lazzari’s contract with SPAL should expire on June 30, 2021.
Highlighted Team (Napoli):
SSC Napoli is an Italian football club from the city of Naples which is playing currently in the Serie A. The club was founded officially in 1926 but the history from Napoli reaches back to 1904 with the club Naples Foot-Ball & Cricket Club that fused with Internazionale Napoli and was called FBC Internaples.
After 4 seasons the club changed its name to SSC Napoli (Societa Sportiva Calcio).
In the end of the eighties Napoli had the biggest success in the club history with the Argentinian legend Diego Maradona. Diego Maradona was able to win the league title twice, the national cup and the UEFA cup. The moment Maradona left the club Napoli got into big financial trouble.
In 2004 the local club was bankrupt. Despite the help of financial investors the club got regulated to the Serie C. After 6 years of playing in lower divisions Napoli managed to get back in the Serie A in season 2007/2008. Famous players that played for the club from Naples are: Maradona, Zola, Cavani, Blanc, Di Canio, Cannavaro.
