Buoyed by a come-from-behind win over Norwich City, Liverpool will look to melt Man City’s advantage to three points when they take on Leeds United in a postponed fixture. January signing Luis Diaz, who opened his goal-scoring account at the weekend, is likely to keep his place in the starting XI, while both Firmino and Jota are rated doubtful for the match. Thiago is widely expected to return to the starting line-up.
The Whites, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-2 loss to Manchester United, and given the importance of the midweek match for the Reds, home win should be considered. Raphinha returns to the starting XI, while all Greenwood, Bamford, Phillips, and Cooper remain in the recovery room. In the first half of the season Liverpool rolled over Leeds 3-0 at Elland Road.

Sadio Mane is a Senegalese footballer who plays for Liverpool as a winger. Mane was born in Sedhiou Senegal on April 10, 1992, but he made his senior debut at French club Metz. In 2012 he moved to Red Bull Salzburg, with the pacey winger scoring 31 goals in 63 appearances for the club in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Mane then decided to take a step forward in his career as he joined famous Premier League club Liverpool for a fee of £34 million, signing a five-year contract with the Reds. The Senegal international quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Liverpool and, no doubt, he helped the Anfield outfit make it to the 2017/2018 Champions League final.
Speaking of trophies, Sadio Mane won the Austrian Bundesliga with Salzburg in the 2013/2014 season. In 2017 he was named Liverpool player of the year for the 2016/2017 season. Sadio Mane made his Senegal debut in 2012 and he was part of the Senegal team that participated at the 2012 Olympic tournament.

Leeds United is one of the clubs that won the FA Cup. The Whites outplayed Arsenal in the final of the prestigious competition back in 1972, but they clinched the League Cup trophy as well. Leeds United faced the Gunners in the 1967/1968 League Cup final and it has to be noted that Terry Cooper scored the winner for the Whites.
Leeds play their home games at Elland Road and the capacity of the stadium is 37,914. The club was founded in 1919 and they have won three First Division (Premier League) trophies ever since (1968/1969, 1973/1974, 1991/1992). Leeds United made it to the Champions League final in 1975, but they were beaten by Bayern Munich in the title clash.
The Whites were impressive under David O’Leary. The likes of Jonathan Woodgate, Lee Bowyer, Harry Kewell, Mark Viduka and Ian Harte were part of the Elland Road outfit back then and they did well to reach the semis of the Champions League in 2001.
