Our prediction for this Bundesliga 2 match:
Following three consecutive defeats, Hannover will be aiming to give fans some cheer when they take on Regensburg at HDI-Arena on Matchday 28. Die Roten are eager to get back on course as their 2. Bundesliga status is in great danger, but they will have to prove their worth on the field. Both Martin Hansen and Sebastian Ernst should miss out with injuries for the home team.
Regensburg, on the other hand, aim to build on a hard-fought 1-0 win over Paderborn. Die Rothosen regained a much-needed confidence before the international break, with the team remaining in top ten. Hannover, though, want this triumph more than Regensburg, which is probably the main reason why we are tempted to put our money on the hosts. As for the visiting side, forward Kaan Caliskaner remains in the recovery room as he has yet to overcome an ankle problem.
