Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Sassuolo and Atalanta go head to head at Mapei Stadium – Citta del Tricolore in a highly-anticipated Serie A game. The Neroverdi have been playing some high-scoring games of late, and they are likely to stick to their attacking style of play. Sassuolo aim to make amends for a 2-1 loss to Lazio, and we are positive that they will find the net in Sunday’s showdown. Filip Djuricic remains in the recovery room, while Domenico Berardi is a major doubt. Davide Fratessi serves a one-game ban.
The Orobici, on the other hand, suffered a 3-1 loss to Napoli on Matchday 31. Atalanta have slim chances of securing a top-four finish, but they could still grab a place in European competitions. Given their attacking potential, both teams to score betting option should be considered. Fit-again Colombia attacker Duvan Zapata is pushing for a start, while De Roon misses the match through suspension.
Highlighted Player (Francesco Magnanelli):
Francesco Magnanelli is a Sassuolo midfielder, who was born on 12 November, 1984. His main position is defensive midfield, but he plays as a central midfielder as well. Magnanelli began his senior career at Gubbio and he played for the club in lower leagues from 2000 to 2002.
He was part of Chievo during the 2002/2003 season, but he did not see any game action during his spelt with the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi outfit. The Italian footballer joined Fiorentina in 2003 and he moved to Sangiovannesse one year later. After making seven league appearances for the club, Francesco Magnanelli made probably the best decision of his career when he signed a contract with Sassuolo in June 2015.
