Our prediction for this Segunda Division match:
After suffering a 1-0 loss to Zaragoza at the weekend, Girona will look to stay in the playoffs berth when they host Real Sociedad B to their Estadio Municipal de Montilivi on Matchday 36. The Catalans are eyeing their fourth consecutive win on home soil, and it is no wonder the bookies see them as hot favourites to pick up all three points from Monday’s clash. Veteran attacker Christian Stuani is pushing for a start, while Borja Garcia remains on the sidelines through suspension.
The Basques, on the other hand, moved one step closer to suffering relegation to Segunda B as they were beaten by Tenerife in their last league match. Since Real Sociedad B are low on spirits ahead of the trip to Catalonia, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. Defender Alex Sola is back from suspension as well as first-choice goalkeeper Andoni Zubiaurre, speaking of the away side.
