St. Mary’s Stadium will host Saturday’s football game between Southampton and Arsenal, the two teams who were beaten by Chelsea (0-6) and Brighton (1-2) respectively at the weekend. The Saints experienced all sorts of problems at the back on Matchday 32, with the team dropping to 14th place in the standings. Since Southampton have nothing to play for in the remainder of the season, home win should not be considered.
Goalkeeper Alex McCarthy should be the only absentee in the home team. The Gunners, on the other hand, aim to regain their spot in top four. Mikel Arteta’s men want this win more than the Saints, and we predict that they will prove their worth on the field. The likes of Thomas Partey, Takehiro Tomiyasu, and Kieran Tierney should miss out with injuries for the visiting side.

Theo James Walcott is an English football player with roots from Jamaica born on 16th of March 1989 in London. Walcott started his football career for AFC Newbury and after scoring over 100 goals in his first season Southampton signed the young Walcott. After 2 seasons playing for the Saints scoring 4 goals in 21games Arsenal transferred Walcott to London for approximately 12 million GBP where he signed a 1 million GBP per year contract by the age of 17.
Walcott is known for being a very fast right-winger but is able to play as a striker as well. Walcott can be used very effectively to set up a counter attack but is the type of offensive player that is very dependant on the rest of the team.
Despite his young age Walcott made his debut for the English national team in May 2006 and played for over 40 games in the national team already. One of Walcott’s biggest weaknesses are his height (only 173cm) and the fact he get’s injured very quickly. Walcott won the FA Cup in 2013/2014 and 2014/15 with Arsenal and the Community Shield in 2015. During the World Cup in 2014 Walcott was injured.

Arsenal used to play their homes at Highbury, but in 2006 they moved to the Emirates Stadium. The capacity of the stadium is 60,260. The Gunners won their last Premier League trophy back in 2004, with the capital club going through the season without a single loss. The likes of Thierry Henry, Denis Bergkamp and Robert Pires were part of the team back then, but Arsenal have not won the league trophy ever since.
Arsenal was founded by Woolwich munitions workers as Dial Square back in 1886. It is well known that Tottenham Hotspur are Arsenal’s fiercest rivals and there have always been fireworks when the two local rivals meet in the North London derby.
