Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Following back-to-back wins over Cagliari and Venezia, Udinese will look to give fans yet another reason for celebration when they face Empoli on Saturday. The Zebrette have little to play for in the season finale, but, no doubt, their pride will be at stake in upcoming fixtures. Important midfielder Roberto Pereyra is back from suspension, while Santurro remains in the recovery room. The Azzurri, on the other hand, are only two points behind Udinese in the Serie A table.
Empoli, though, do not seem to be at their sharpest ahead of the trip to Udine, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered. As for the visitors, midfielder Szymon Zurkowski serves a one-game ban, whilst all Haas, Marchizza, and Tonelli have been struggling with injuries of late. Earlier in the process Empoli emerged triumphant, meaning that Udinese are hungry for revenge.
