Toronto FC
New York City will look to build on a thrilling 6-0 win over Real Salt Lake when they take on Toronto on Sunday evening. The Blue Pigeons impressed in their last league match, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Valentin Castellanos, who scored four goals at the weekend, while both Maxime Chanot and Anton Tinnerholm are out of contention with injuries.
The Reds, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Philadelphia, but seeing that they often struggle on the travels, we are tempted to put our money on New York City this time out. Forward Marshall-Rutty remains on the sidelines with injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away team. In their last meeting in the Major League Soccer the Reds defeated the Blue Pigeons, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.

Alexei Koselev is a Moldovan international who plays for Eredivisie side Fortuna Sittard. Koselev started his youth career at Kuban Krasnodar, but he did not see any game action with the Russian club at senior level.
The Moldovan goalkeeper played for the likes of Gagauzia, Dacia-2 Buiucani, Real-Succes, Saxan Gagauz Yeri, FC Tiraspol, Sheriff Tiraspol, and Politehnica Iasi before joining Fortuna Sittard in the summer of 2018. Alexei Koselev has 18 caps for the Moldova U21 team, and he made his senior debut in a qualifier against Russia in 2015.
The 200-cm-tall shot-stopper managed to keep his first clean sheet with the Moldova national team in a 2-0 win over San Marino on March 19, 2017. Alexei Koselev’s preferred foot is right, and he wears the No. 77 shirt at Fortuna Sittard. He made his Eredivisie debut on August 11, 2018 in a 1-1 draw with Excelsior.

Speaking of the Canadian Championship, Toronto FC won their fifth domestic title in 2016, with the team beating Vancouver Whitecaps in the final of the tournament. Montreal Impact are considered the club’s biggest rivals and there have always been fireworks in meetings between the two Canadian sides. Toronto FC’s home kit is red and it is no surprise they are nicknamed the Reds. It has to be noted that the club was founded back in 2005.
