Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Verona and Sampdoria take on each other at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi in the Serie A round 34. The Mastini proved their worth in a 2-1 win over Atalanta, with the team quickly bouncing back from a 2-0 loss to Inter. Verona aim to move closer to the Europa League berth, and they are surely capable of matching Sampdoria in the “City of Love”. All Coppola, Pandur, and Dawidowicz are out of contention with injuries, but there are no suspended players in the home team.
La Samp, on the other hand, suffered a shocking 2-1 loss to relegation strugglers Salernitana at the weekend. Given their three-game losing run, and shaky defence, we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on the home team. As for Marco Giampolo’s side, both Giovinco and Gabbiadini continue to miss out with injuries.
Highlighted Player (Giovanni Simeone):
Giovanni Simeone is a product of River Plate football academy. Simeone played for los Millonarios at senior level from 2014 to 2016 and he moved to Genoa in the summer of 2016. The former River Plate man scored his first goal for the club in a 1-1 draw with Pescara on September 25, 2016 and two months later he scored a brace in a 3-1 victory over Serie A giants Juventus.
The prolific attacker netted 12 goals in 35 matches for the Rossoblu in the 2016/2017 Serie A campaign and, as a result, Fiorentina chiefs decided to sign him at the end of the season. The son of Atletico Madrid boss Diego joined the Viola on a five-year contract. Giovanni was born in Madrid on July 5, 1995 and due to his dual citizenship, he is eligible to represent both Argentina and Spain at senior level.
It has to be noted that he scored 12 goals in 12 appearances for the Argentina U20 team and he helped La Albiceleste win the 2015 South American Youth Football Championship.
