Our prediction for this Serie B match:
Cosenza play host to Pordenone at their Stadio San Vito in the relegation six-pointer. The Rossoblu are seven points behind the safe zone, meaning that this has to go down as a must-win game for them. Keep in mind, though, that all Alessandro Di Pardo, Aldo Florenzi, and Sauli Vaisanen are sidelined through suspension. Pordenone, on the other hand, failed to secure the Serie B survival, with the team collecting no more than 17 points in the process.
The rock-bottom side experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 4-1 loss to Benevento, and we do not believe that they are capable of grabbing something from Monday’s clash. Cheikh Sylla continues to miss out with injury, while all Iacoponi, Perisan, and Misuraca are major doubts. In their last meeting at the venue the two teams played out a goalless draw, but home win should be considered this time out.
