Our prediction for this Serie A match:
Dacia Arena will host Saturday’s Serie A game between Udinese and Spezia, the two teams with black and white outfits. Udinese are safe, with the team sitting in 12th position in the standings ahead of the penultimate day of the season. The Zebrette head into the match with the lack of motivation, meaning that they should be happy with the share of spoils. Bram Nuytinck is pushing for a start, while Rodrigo Becao misses out through suspension.
Both Santurro and Success remain in the recovery room, whereas Beto is a major doubt. The Bianconeri, on the other hand, are only three points clear of bottom three ahead of the trip to Udine. Since the visitors should be happy with one point from Saturday’s game as well, we are tempted to put our money on draw. Bastoni is banned for the away side, while both Leo’ Sena and Colley remain in the treatment room.
Highlighted Player (Nicolas Andrade):
Nicolas Andrade is a Brazilian goalkeeper who plays for Hellas Verona in Serie A. Nicolas was born in Colorado de Oeste on April 12, 1988 and he is a product of Atletico Mineiro youth school. The 190-cm-tall shot-stopper played for the likes of Villa Nova, Tombense and Anapolina in Brazil before joining Italian side Hellas Verona in 2010.
In 2014 he was sent on loan to Virtus Lanciano and he made 35 appearances in the league for the club. At the end of the 2014/2015 season the Brazilian goalkeeper signed a loan deal with Trapani, but he eventually returned to the “City of Love”. Nicolas managed to keep no less than 17 clean sheets in 42 appearances for Hellas Verona in the 2016/2017 Serie B campaign.
He has established himself as a first-choice goalkeeper at Verona, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Brazil national football team. His contract with the Mastini should expire on June 30, 2019.
Highlighted Team (Spezia):
Spezia is a professional Italian club based in Spezia, Liguria. The Bianconeri secured promotion to the Serie A in the 2019/20 season, with the team beating Frosinone in the Serie B playoffs final. Spezia are well known for their black and white home jerseys, and black is the dominant colour of their away kit.
The club’s home ground Stadio Alberto Picco has the capacity of 10,336 people. The venue was opened back in 1919, with architect Gregotti being in charge of the project. In 2002 the club chiefs decided to reach an agreement with Inter which saw Spezia become Inter’s feeder club.
As a result, the likes of Goran Pandev, Aco Stojkov, and Alex Cordaz joined the Bianconeri in the first season. Spezia then suffered a bankruptcy, but in 2008 they were re-founded. In the 2020/21 season the Bianconeri will compete in the Italian elite division for the first time ever.
