LFF stadionas will host Saturday’s Nations League game between Lithuania and Luxembourg, the two teams who meet for the first time since June 2019. Back then the two sides played out a 1-1 draw, and yet another close encounter is on the horizon. Considering that the former Soviet Republic collected only three points in total in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, home win should not be considered.
Luxembourg, on the other hand, did well to record three victories in the qualifiers for the showpiece tournament, and they are surely capable of matching Lithuania in Vilnius. As previously mentioned, a close game is on the cards, and we believe that punters from all around the globe can find value in betting on draw. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be experienced midfielder Fedor Cernych, while Gerson Rodrigues is likely to prove a handful for the Lithuania back-line.

Vytautas Andriuskevicius is a Lithuania international who plays for Portland Timbers as a left back. Andriuskevicius started his senior career at FBK Kaunas, but he made no more than 17 league appearances for the Lithuanian club from 2007 to 2010.
In 2010 he joined Polish outfit Lechia Gdansk and he spent three seasons at Stadion Energa Gdansk. After ending his spell with Lechia, Vytautas Andriuskevicius moved to Sweden, signing a deal with Djurgardens. He played 31 league games for the Iron Stoves and at the end of the 2013/2014 season he joined Cambuur.
After spending two seasons in the Dutch club, the Lithuanian footballer signed for Major League Soccer club Portland Timbers on July 14, 2016. Andriuskevicius is a full back who side position is centre back and it has to be noted that he was born on October 8, 1990 in Alytus, Lithuania. The 188-cm tall defender made his Lithuania debut on August 10, 2011 in a friendly against Armenia.

Jeff Strasser is both the most famous and the most capped Luxembourg player and it has to be noted that the former Bundesliga player made 98 appearances for the national team. Luxembourg recorded their biggest win against Afghanistan (6-0), in the match that was played in London in 1948.
