After sharing the spoils with Iceland in Reykjavik, Albania will look to register their first group win in the Nations League when they take on Israel at Air Albania Stadium. The Albanians failed to turn their dominance in possession into more goals against Iceland, but they are surely capable of matching Israel in front of home fans.
Tirana attacker Taulant Seferi should keep his place in the starting XI after finding the net in the second group game, while experienced forward Bekim Balaj is pushing for a start. The visitors, on the other hand, kicked off their UEFA Nations League campaign with a 2-2 draw with Iceland. Since Israel are not regarded as good travelers, the share of spoils is on the cards in Tirana. PSV striker Eran Zahavi has been omitted, and, in his absence, a man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Munas Dabbur.
Highlighted Player (Elseid Hysaj):
Born on 2nd February 1994, Elseid Hysaj is an Albanian defender who has spent his entire professional career in Italian Serie A and he is predicted a bright future in the game. Empoli scouts spotted his talent while he was playing for Shodra youth sides, and after three years in the youth team, the full-back was promoted to the first team set up.
Hysaj performed really well in his first three years as a first team regular, helping the Azzurri gain promotion to the top fight in the process. One season in Serie A proved enough for the right-sided defender to secure a big club move as he joined Napoli in the summer of 2015 and immediately nailed down a regular starting berth.
Capable of doing dirty defensive work as well as making forward runs, Hysaj is a modern full-back, who is destined for big things. The talented footballer is already a key member of the Albania national team and he will represent the country at the Euro 2016 finals.

Israel are the direct successor of the Mandatory Palestine national football team. The Israelis received full UEFA membership in 1994, 20 years after leaving AFC and they have been facing European sides in the World Cup qualifiers ever since. Israel participated at the 1970 FIFA World Cup finals in Mexico, but they failed to make it to the knockout stages of the showpiece tournament.
The Israeli national football team have yet to qualify for the final stages of the European Championship, but they made it to the quarter-finals of the Olympics on two occasions (1968, 1976). Israel play their home games at both Sammy Ofer Stadium in Haifa and Teddy Stadium in Jerusalem.
