Burnley
Huddersfileld will look to kick off the new Championship campaign in style when they take on Burnley at John Smith’s Stadium on Friday evening. Huddersfield did well to make it to the playoffs final last season, but Nottingham Forest proved to be a big catch for Carlos Corberan’s troops. New boss Danny Schofield is on a quest to help the Terriers return to the Premier League, but they face a difficult task in the season opener.
A man to watch in the home team will be Danny Ward, who scored 14 goals last season, while all Jack Rudoni, Yuta Nakayama, and Connor Mahoney are eyeing their Huddersfield debuts. The Clarets, on the other hand, aim to return to the Premier League as soon as possible. Burnley, though, are not regarded as good travellers, which is probably the main reason why we are going to put our money on draw. The likes of Nathan Collins, Nick Pope, James Tarkowski, and Ben Mee are no longer parts of the team.

Daniel Ward is a goalkeeper who was born on 22 June, 1993 in Wrexham, Wales. The 191-cm-tall shoot-stopper is a product of Wrexham Academy, but he did not make his senior debut for the club. After spending the 2010/2011 season at Tamworth, Danny Ward returned to Wrexham and on 30 January, 2012 he joined Liverpool for a fee of £100,000.
He made just two league appearances for the Anfield outfit and in 2015 he signed a loan deal with Morecambe. On 23 June he signed a new five-year deal with Liverpool, but he was soon sent on loan to Aberdeen. He played 21 games for the Scottish outfit and on 11 July, 2016 he signed a season-long deal with Championship team Huddersfield Town.
Danny Ward has 4 caps for Wales U21 team and he made his senior debut for the Dragons in a friendly against Northern Ireland on 24 March, 2016. Ward represented his homeland at the 2016 European Championship finals in France as he started the game against Slovakia.

Burnley were one of the founding members of the Football League back in 1888. The Clarets did remarkably well to win the FA Cup trophy back in 1914 and the club owners have been trying to bring glory days back to Turf Moor ever since.
Burnley defeated Liverpool in the 1913/1914 FA Cup final and, no doubt, this is regarded as the greatest achievement in the club’s history. The Clarets finished the 2015/2016 Championship campaign in top position in the standings and, as a result, they will participate in the English Premier League in the 2016/2017 season.
Burnley play their home games at Turf Moor and the capacity of the stadium is 21,401. The Clarets have won two Community Shield trophies so far, in 1960 and 1973, but they have yet to clinch the Premier League title. Claret is the dominant colour of the team’s home shirts.
