Bolton
All eyes will be on Portman Road when Ipswich Town and Bolton Wanderers face each other in the opening match of the season. The Tractor Boys finished the last season in 11th place in the standings, and, no doubt, they are eager to make amends for the unsuccessful campaign. The club chiefs did well to keep hold of Wesley Burns in the summer transfer window, but Zimbabwe international Macauley Bonne is no longer part of the team.
Bolton, on the other hand, failed to impress in per-season, with the team suffering defeats to lower-league sides Atherton and Bamber Bridge, which is probably the main reason why home win should be considered this time out. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be Iceland attacker Jon Dadi Bodvardsson, who scored seven goals in 21 appearances last term.

Born in Brno on November 14, 1990, Vaclav Hladky is a Czech footballer who plays for Scottish Premier League club St Mirren as a goalkeeper. Hladky spent his youth career at the likes of FC Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, and FC Zbrojovka Brno, and he continued playing for the Zbrojovka Brno reserve team at the senior level.
The 192-cm-tall shot-stopper played for the likes of MSK Breclav (loan) Sparta Brno, FK Sardice, FC Zbrojovka Brno (senior team), and Slovan Liberec before signing a contract with St Mirren. The Czech goalkeeper made his Scottish Premiership debut on January 23, 2019, in a 4-0 loss at Celtic.
Hladky played for the Czech Republic youth teams as well, but he has yet to earn a call-up for the Czech Republic senior team. Vaclav Hladky wears the No. 1 shirt at St Mirren, and his preferred foot is right.

Bolton Wanderers were formed as Christ Church Football Club back in 1874 and three years later they adopted their current name. The Trotters currently compete in the Championship and they play their home games at Macron Stadium, which was opened in 1997.
Speaking of the club’s trophies, Bolton Wanderers won the FA Cup on four occasions (1923, 1926, 1929 and 1958), but they have yet to win the Premier League title. The Trotters were producing splendid displays in the 2003/2004 Premier League campaign, with the team finishing the season in eighth position in the standings, which is regarded as the club’s best result in the English top flight.

Nigeria international Jay-Jay Okocha is one of the most notable footballers who played for Bolton and he scored 14 goals in 124 appearances in the league for the club. Bury are considered the club’s fiercest rivals.
