After avoiding the drop to the Championship last time out, Leeds United will look to get off to a flying start when they take on Wolverhampton in the 2022/2023 season opener. Raphinha is no longer part of the team, and, in his absence, a man to watch in the home team will be summer signing Brenden Aaronson. The likes of Tyler Adams, Rasmus Kristensen, Marc Roca, and Luis Sinisterra have joined the club as well.
The Wolves, on the other hand, did well to keep hold of key attacker Raul Jimenez in the summer transfer window, but the Mexico international misses the season opener with injury. Even though Adama Traore is back from his loan spell with Barcelona, we are tempted to put our money on the Whites, who add a couple of high-profile footballers to the squad.

Kalvin Phillips started his youth career at Wortley Juniors, but he has been playing for Leeds United ever since he joined the Elland Road outfit at the age of 15. The 177-cm-tall midfielder has established himself as a first-team regular at Leeds, but he has yet to make his debut for the England national team.
Born in Leeds on December 2, 1995 Kalvin Phillips is a right-footed footballer whose main position is defensive midfield. However, he is used as a central midfielder as well. The English footballer scored his first ever goal for the Whites in a 2-1 loss to Cardiff City on April 11, 2015.
