Our prediction for this Premier League match:
After dropping two points in a 2-2 draw with Fulham, Liverpool will look to get back on course when they welcome Crystal Palace to their Anfield. The Reds failed to impress in the season opener, but the bookies still see them as hot favourites to beat the Eagles on home soil. Mohamed Salah, who opened his goal-scoring account at the weekend, will be the man to watch in the home side, will summer signing Darwin Nunez will almost certainly make his first Premier League start against Palace after impressing on his debut.
It has to be noted that midfielder Thiago has joined Diego Jota, Curtis Jones, and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in the recovery room. Konate and Tsimikas miss out with injuries as well. The Eagles, on the other hand, failed to impress in a 2-0 loss to Arsenal; therefore, we do not believe that they are capable of spoiling Liverpool’s party at Anfield. The likes of Olisse, McArthur, Tomkins, and Butland are injured for the visiting side.
