The Terriers made a slow start to the season, with the team losing to both Burnley and Birmingham, and, as a result, they are low on spirits ahead of the visit of Stoke. Daniel Ward is a goalkeeper who was born on 22 June, 1993 in Wrexham, Wales. The 191-cm-tall shoot-stopper is a product of Wrexham Academy, but he did not make his senior debut for the club. After spending the 2010/2011 season at Tamworth, Danny Ward returned to Wrexham and on 30 January, 2012 he joined Liverpool for a fee of £100,000.
He made just two league appearances for the Anfield outfit and in 2015 he signed a loan deal with Morecambe. On 23 June he signed a new five-year deal with Liverpool, but he was soon sent on loan to Aberdeen. He played 21 games for the Scottish outfit and on 11 July, 2016 he signed a season-long deal with Championship team Huddersfield Town.
