Nottingham Forest
Grimsby Town play host to Nottingham Forest at their Blundell Park in the EFL Cup last 64. The Black and Whites have been impressive at the back of late, and they are likely to rely on their solid defence in Tuesday’s clash. Ryan Taylor should be rested in the EFL game, with Aribim Pepple likely to step up. The visitors, on the other hand, head into the match following a 1-1 draw with Everton. The Premier League side made a promising start to the season, but there is every chance Steven Cooper will rest key players in Tuesday’s clash.
Omar Richards remains on the sidelines with injury, while Jack Colback is unlikely to be risked. All Emmanuel Dennis, Remo Freuler, Cheikhou Kouyate, Giulian Biancone, and Wayne Hennessey could make their Forest debuts against Grimsby. Anyhow, a low-scoring affair is on the cards as the visitors will be without important attackers in the Blundell Park showdown.

Sean Scannell is a winger who plays for Huddersfield Town. The Irish footballer is capable of playing up front as well and he began his senior career at Crystal Palace, before penning a three-year contract with Huddersfield Town.
The English player, who was born in Croydon on 17 September 1990, made 25 outings for Huddersfield in the 2015/2016 Championship campaign, scoring one goal for the club. Sean Scannell has 10 caps for Republic of Ireland Under-21 side, but he has yet to make his debut for the senior team. Scannell was named Republic of Ireland Young Player of the Year in 2007, and in 2008 he was Crystal Palace’s Young Player of the Year.
His contract with Huddersfield Town expires on 30 June, 2019 and his highest market value was €1 million back on 8 January, 2009. Sean Scannell started his youth career in Addiscombe Corinthians, but he played for Crystal Palace youth teams as well.

Nottingham Forest, the club that are often referred to as Forest, were formed in 1865. They have been playing their home games at the City Ground since 1898 and the capacity of the stadium is 30,445. Nottingham Forest are regarded as one of the greatest English clubs as they won the European Cup on two occasions. In 1979 Forest outplayed Malmo (1-0) at the Olympiastadion in Munich in the final of the elite competition, with the team beating Hamburg in 1980 in the title game at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu (1-0).
Nottingham Forest won the national championship in the 1977/1978 season, with the team finishing the campaign seven points clear of second-placed Liverpool. To make things even better for the fans, the City Ground outfit clinched the FA Cup trophies in 1898 and 1959. Derby County are regarded as Forest’s bitterest rivals and the two local rivals contest in the East Midlands derby. In their first ever meeting in the local derby Forest recorded a 3-2 win over Derby County.
