Our prediction for this Europa League match:
Helsinki and Real Betis square off against each other at Bolt Arena in what will be their first meeting in the Europa League. HJK are on a quest to defend their Veikkausliiga title, but they have big ambitions for the 2022/2023 Europa League campaign as well. A man to keep an eye on in the home team will be Serbia international Bojan Radulovic, who has netted seven goals in the Finnish top flight so far this season.
The Andalusians, on the other hand, made a promising start to the new La Liga campaign, and despite suffering a 2-1 loss to Real Madrid at the weekend, they are seen as favourites to beat HJK. Given the number of high-profile footballers in Manuel Pellegrino’s team, anything but a routine away win would be a major surprise. Nabil Fekir is unlikely to feature in Thursday’s clash after limping off with injury in the loss to los Blancos.
