Our prediction for this Europa Conference League match:
St. Jakob-Park will host Thursday’s Conference League game between Basel and Pyunik. David faces Goliath in Switzerland, but the hosts will have to prove their worth on the field. Fit-again striker Andi Zeqiri should continue to lead the line for the hosts, while head coach Alexander Frei has no fresh injury worries. Yet another man to watch in the home team will be Liam Millar, who has netted two goals in the Conference League this term.
Pyunik, on the other hand, have been showing signs of improvement in the national championship, with the team beating both Noah and Lernayin Artsakh, but they will have a big fish to fry at St. Jakob-Park. As previously mentioned, this will be a David-vs-Goliath clash; therefore, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise.
