Charlton Athletic play host to Oxford United at the Valley in what is expected to be an exciting League One game. The Red Robins have been struggling to find their best form of late, with the team failing to win the previous six league fixtures, but the bookies still see them as favourites to beat the Yellows in London. Midfielder Jack Payne, who scored a consolation goal in a 3-1 loss to Barnsley, should be recalled to the starting XI, while Chuks Aneke remains in the recovery room.

After spending a couple of seasons on loan at the likes of Oxford United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United, the English footballer signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
