Newcastle United and Everton go head to head at St. James’ Park in what is expected to be one of the most interesting games of Tuesday’s program. The Magpies are determined to represent England in European competitions next season, and they must be high on spirits following a goalless draw with Man Utd at Old Trafford. All Darlow, Ritchie, Krafth, and Isak remain in the recovery room, while the midweek clash comes too early for pacey winger Allan Saint-Maximin.
The Toffees, on the other hand, failed to spoils Spurs party in London at the weekend, and seeing that they were beaten by Newcastle in each of their last two meetings at St. James’ Park, we are going to put our money on the hosts. As for the away team, all Patterson, Holgate, Mina, Godfrey, and Townsend are sidelined with injuries, while fit-again forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin is pushing for his first start of the season.

Paul Dummett is a product of Newcastle United’s youth school. His main position is left back, but he is capable of playing as a centre back as well. The defender was born on 26 September, 1991 and he played for the likes of Gateshead and St. Mirren on loan in the past.
Dummett returned to Newcastle United in 2013 and he featured in 18 games for the Magpies in the 2013/2014 Premier League campaign. On the last day of the season, he made a hard tackle on Liverpool attacker Luis Suarez and, in turn received death threats from Uruguay fans on Twitter. The Newcastle United defender scored one goal in 23 appearances for the club in the 2015/2016 Premier League campaign, but he did not help the St. James’ Park outfit avoid relegation to the Championship.
Paul Dummett plays for Wales and he made his debut for the Dragons on June, 2014 against Netherlands. It has to be noted that Dummett won the Scottish League Cup with St. Mirren in the 2012/2013 season.

Everton are one of the two Merseyside giants that were formed back in 1878, with the club holding a long-standing rivalry with Liverpool. Everton have participated in the English top flight for a record 113 seasons, with the team competing in the English second tier in just four campaigns.
The Toffees play their home matches at Goodison Park, the stadium that was opened in 1892. Everton have won the national championship nine times, with the team winning their last domestic trophy back in 1987.
The Toffees have clinched five FA Cup trophies as well and it has to be noted that a victory over Manchester United in the 1994/1995 FA Cup final helped the team win their last title in the prestigious competition. Everton and Liverpool face each other in the Merseyside derby and the clash between the two local rivals has been called the Merseyside derby since 1955.
