Nantes
Nice play host to Nantes at their Allianz Riviera on day 12 of the new Ligue 1 campaign. Les Aiglons have been having their ups and downs of late, with the team losing to PSG, beating Troyes, while sharing the spoils with Auxerre. Nice are eager to return to winning ways, but Sunday’s clash will be anything but a walk in the park for the home side. All Sofiane Diop, Hichem Boudaoui, and Youcef Atala are out of contention with injuries.
Les Canaris, on the other hand, produced their best displays of the season in a 4-1 crushing of Brest, but given their poor away record in the French top flight, we predict that the hosts are going to emerge triumphant in Sunday’s game. The Ivory Coast international is unpredictable in his movement and not easy to keep an eye on, especially because of his powerful left foot.
