Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Swindon Town will be aiming to climb to the playoffs berth when they face Hartlepool in the League Two round 15. The Robins continue with their habit of producing much better showings at home than on the travels, with the team eyeing their fifth home win of the process. Saint Kitts and Nevis forward Tyrese Shade, who scored the winner against Colchester, is pushing for a rare League Two start.
The Pools, on the other hand, are stuck at the bottom with only nine points on their account, and given their shaky defence, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. It has to be noted that Hartlepool suffered an embarrassing 6-0 loss to Everton U21 in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday evening. In their last encounter at County Ground the Robins recorded a routine 3-1 win over Hartlepool.
Highlighted Player (Jonny Williams):
Jonathan Williams is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Wales National Team and Charlton Athletic. Born on the 9th of October 1993, the Turnbridge local joined Crystal Palace's youth academy in 2002 and after impressive displays with the reserve team, signed a professional contract with the club in 2011.
He made his first professional appearance for the Eagles on the 16th of August, coming on a substitute in a game against Coventry City. Williams then scored his maiden professional goal a month later in a League Cup game against Wigan Athletic. In total, the dynamic midfielder spent eight years at Palace, making 70 appearances in all competitions for the club. He also had loan spells at Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Milton Keynes Dons, and Sunderland during that time. On the 4th of January, 2019, the 26-year old joined current club Charlton on an initial six-month deal before rejoining them for the 18/19 season.
Internationally, Williams has capped for Wales under-17, under-18, and under-19 teams before progressing to Wales's senior squad on the 3rd of October, 2011. He made his international debut on the 22nd of March, 2013, as a second-half substitute against Scotland.
