All eyes will be on the Valley when Charlton Athletic and Ipswich Town face each other in the League One round 17. Following three consecutive wins, the Red Robins suffered a 2-0 loss to Charlton Athletic in their last league match to drop to eighth place in the standings. The capital club aim to get back on course as soon as possible, but they face an uphill task in Saturday’s showdown.
To make things even worse for the home side, important defender Ryan Inniss misses the game through suspension. The Tractor Boys, on the other hand, aim to build on back-to-back wins over Derby County (1-0) and Port Vale (3-2). Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
