Following a 2-1 win over Lorient, PSG will be aiming to cement top position in the Ligue 1 when they host Auxerre to their Parc des Princes. Les Parisiens extended their winning run to six games in all competitions at the weekend, but Lens are still breathing down their neck in the Ligue 1 table. All Fabian Ruiz, Keylor Navas, and Presnel Kimpembe are sidelined with injuries, but Leo Messi should recover in time to take part in the last game before the World Cup break.
Auxerre, on the other hand, are sitting just above the relegation zone, but they should not be looking for points in the “City of Lights”. Given PSG’s current form, anything but a routine home win would be a major surprise. All Kays Ruiz-Atil, Brayann Pereira, and Youssuf M’Changama should miss out through injuries for the visiting team, while M’Baye Niang is back from suspension.
