Our prediction for this Ligue 1 match:
Stade Pierre-Mauroy will host Sunday’s football game between Lille and Angers, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. Les Dogues are five points behind the Champions League berth, and their display in a 1-1 draw with Rennes is surely giving fans a reason for optimism. Lille failed to turn their dominance into victory at the weekend, but they are surely capable of beating les Scoistes on home soil.
Both Ismaily and Gabriel Gudmundsson miss out with injuries for the home team. The visitors, on the other hand, aim to recover from a 2-1 loss to Lens, but given their poor away record in the French top flight (1-1-4), we predict that the visitors will return home empty-handed from the trip to Lille. As for the away side, Batista Mendy is banned, while all Ousmane Camara, Sofiane Boufal, and Ali Kalla are sidelined with injuries.

French Football Federation was founded in 1919, with French football club Angers being founded the same year. Les Scoistes returned to the French top flight at the end of the 2014/2015 season and they finished the 2015/2016 Ligue 1 campaign in ninth place in the standings.
Angers were having their ups and downs in the 2016/2017 season and, as a result, they finished 12th. Les Scoistes are well known for their black jerseys with white stripes, whilst the color of their away kits is white. Stade Raymond Kopa is the team’s home ground and the capacity of the stadium is 17.835.
