All eyes will be on Fratton Park when Portsmouth and Charlton Athletic face each other in the League One round 25. The Pompey do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team failing to win the last eight league fixtures, but Sunday’s clash could be the turning point for Danny Cowley’s charges. Defender Denver Hume is pushing for a start, while all Louis Thompson, Joe Rafferty, Jayden Reid, and Tom Lowery should miss out with injuries.
The capital club, on the other hand, have been totally out of form of late. Since Charlton collected only one point in total from the last five league matches, we do not believe that Portsmouth will have a better chance than this to return to winning ways in the League One. Talented forward Miles Leaburn is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring as a substitute in a 3-1 loss to Oxford.

Born in Southend-on-Sea, England on April 25, 1994 Jake Forster-Caskey is a midfielder who plays for Charlton Athletic in the League One. Forster-Caskey started his both youth and senior careers at Brighton & Hove Albion and it has to be noted that he scored five goals in 67 league appearances for the Seagulls first team.
After spending a couple of seasons on loan at the likes of Oxford United, Milton Keynes Dons and Rotherham United, the English footballer signed a two-and-a-half year deal with Charlton Athletic in the winter of 2017. Jake quickly established himself as a first-team regular at the capital club, scoring 5 goals in 43 appearances in the 2017/2018 League One campaign.
However, he was out of contention for most of the 2018/2019 season with a serious knee injury. His main position is central midfielder, but he is capable of playing as both defensive and left midfielder as well.
