Stade Francis Turcan will host Saturday’s game between Hyeres and Olympique Marseille, the two teams who meet for the first time in the Coupe de France. OM have slim chances of winning the Ligue 1 title, and, no doubt, they are eager to go all the way in the French Cup. All Gerson, Gigot, Harit, Ruiz, and Toure have been struggling with injuries of late, while both Guendouiz and Gueye should be recalled to the starting XI.
The National 2 team, on the other hand, set up a meeting with Marseille by beating St Esteve Perpignan on penalties. The hosts are likely to adopt a defence-minded approach in Saturday’s clash, but preventing OM attackers from scoring is easier said than done. In their last meeting with a Ligue 1 side in the French Cup, Hyeres were beaten by Montpellier (1-2), back in 2006.

Amine Harit is a French-born Moroccan footballer, who plays for Schalke 04 in Bundesliga. Born in Pontoise (France) on June 18, 1997, Harit began his youth career in the suburbs of Paris, learning the football basics with Argentuil C.O.
After spending four years at Esperance Paris 19eme, the attacking midfielder moved to famous French club Paris Saint-Germain. However, he quickly returned to Esperance Paris 19eme and in 2011 he joined fellow French club Red Star. One year later he moved to Nantes, where he ended his youth career.
Amine Harit continued playing for les Canaris at senior level and after scoring one goal in 30 league games for Nantes, he signed a contract with Bundesliga side Schalke 04. Harit made two appearances for France U21 team, but he represents Morocco at senior level. The attacking midfielder, who is used as a winger as well, made his Morocco debut on October 7, 2017 against Gabon in the 2018 FIFA world cup qualifiers.

Olympique de Marseille are considered one of the best French football clubs. Les Olympiens won their ninth Ligue 1 title in 2010, but winning of the 1992/1993 Champions League trophy is seen as the club’s biggest success. Marseille defeated Italian giants Milan in the title game, with Basile Boli scoring the winner (1-0) in the Olympiastadion showdown.
It has to be noted, though, that the Stade Velodrome outfit were banned from defending the title in the 1993/1994 season after being involved in a match-fixing scandal. To make things even worse for the fans, the club suffered enforced relegation to the Ligue 2. Olympique de Marseille participated in the Europa League final on two occasions (1998/1999, 2003/2004), but they were beaten by Parma and Valencia respectively in the title games. OM’s home ground Stade Velodrome was opened on June 13, 1997 and the capacity of the stadium is 67.394.
