Swansea City and Birmingham City square off against each other at Swansea.com Stadium in the Championship round 30. The Swans aim to stay in the playoffs race, and they are surely capable of matching the Blues in South Wales. Morgan Whittaker has ended his loan spell with Plymouth, while Liam Walsh remains on the sidelines with an Achilles tendon problem.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to recover from the FA Cup defeat to Blackburn Rovers, but given their five-match winless run in the Championship, we predict that the hosts are going to pick up all three points from Saturday’s encounter. As for the visiting side, both Harlee Dean and Przemyslaw Placheta remain on the sidelines with injuries. Keep in mind, though, that Swansea City are eyeing their first win over Birmingham City since July 2020.

Allen operated as a deep-lying playmaker as the Swans impressed upon reaching the elite division, with his excellent passing skills persuading Liverpool to splash £15 million on his services. The central midfielder didn’t exactly manage to develop into an indispensable member of the side at Anfield, but he is considered an important squad player and has always performed well when called upon.
Meanwhile, he has been one of the pillars of the most successful team in the Wales history together with Gareth Bale, Ashley Williams and Aaron Ramsey, while even representing Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Allen started five games for the Dragons as they secured the first ever appearance at the European Championship finals.
