Vitesse
De Oude Meerdijk will host Saturday’s football game between Emmen and Vitesse, the two bottom-table sides. Emmen aim to escape the relegation zone, and they are likely to adopt an attack-minded approach against the Vitas. Richairo Zivkovic limped off with injury in a 2-0 loss to RKC Waalwijk, with Oussama Darfalou likely to step up. All Rui Mendes, Jeff Hardeveld, and Maikel Kieftenbeld are out of contention with injuries.
The Vitas, on the other hand, produced a fine display in a 3-1 win over Heerenveen, with the team regaining a much-needed confidence. Since Vitesse emerged triumphant in each of the previous three meetings with Emmen, we are tempted to put our money on the away team. Midfielder Sondre Tronstad misses out with injury, but he should be the only absentee in the away side. In the first half of the season Vitesse recorded a 2-1 win over Emmen.

Born in Zwolle, Netherlands on March 9, 1989, Anco Jansen is a pacey winger who started his senior career in his home-town club FC Zwolle. After scoring two goals in 40 league appearances for the club, he joined Groningen in 2008, but he did not see any game action with the Green and White Army in the Eredivisie.
Anco Jansen played for the likes of Cambuur, SC Veendam, De Graafschap, Roda JC, and Boluspor as well before joining FC Emmen in 2017. Anco Jansen made his Eredivisie debut with FC Emmen in a 2-1 win over ADO Den Haag on August 12, 2018, with the winger finding the net after 42 minutes.
His main position is left winger, but he is used as both centre-forward and attacking midfielder as well. His preferred foot is right. Anco Jansen has yet to earn a call-up with the Netherlands national football team.

Nicknamed Vitas, the proud of Gelderland, Vitesse are a Dutch football club based in Arnhem. Vitesse compete in the Dutch Eredivisie and they have yet to win the national championship. However, they finished as runners-up in the Dutch elite division on five occasions (1897–98, 1902–03, 1912–13, 1913–14, 1914–15), while clinching third place in the standings in the 1997/1998 season.
Vitesse did remarkably well to win the 2016/2017 Dutch Cup title, with the team beating AZ Alkmaar in the final at De Kuip in Rotterdam. As a result, the Vitas booked their place in the Europa League group stages where they face the likes of Lazio, Nice and Zulte-Waregem.
Vitesse are well known for their yellow jerseys with black stripes, while the club’s away colour is black. GelreDome is the home ground of the Dutch team and the capacity of the venue is 21.248. It has to be noted that famous Spanish footballer Albert Ferrer was in charge of the club in the 2010/2011 season.
