Ross County
St. Mirren will be aiming to make amends for a massive Scottish Cup defeat (1-5) to Celtic when they take on Ross County in the Premiership round 26. The Saints are eager to regain their spot in top six, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach against the Staggies. Johan Ayunga and Richard Tait are sidelined with injuries, while Richard Taylor is banned for the match following his sending off at Celtic Park.
Meanwhile, the visitors produced a fine display in a 2-1 loss to Rangers, and seeing that they are desperate to escape the relegation zone, we predict that Malky Mackay’s men are going to grab something from the match. As for the visiting side, both Ben Paton and Ben Purrington are out of contention with injuries, while January signing Simon Murray is pushing for a start.

After spending his youth career at Mervue United and Salthill Devon, Joe Shaughnessy signed his first professional deal with Aberdeen in June 2009. Shaughnessy made 53 appearances for the club in the Scottish Premier League before joining St. Johnstone in 2015.
In October 2017 the Irish defender was named the club’s captain as he replaced Steven Anderson in the role. Joe Shaughnessy, who played for the likes of Forfar Athletic and Falkirk on loan in the past, left St. Johnstone at the end of the 2018/2019 season, signing a one-year deal with Southend United.
The Irish footballer made his League One debut in a 1-0 loss to Coventry City in the opening match of the season. His main position is centre-back, but he is used as a right-back as well. His contract with Southend United should expire on June 30, 2020. Joe Shaughnessy’s preferred foot is right.
