Cambridge United will be aiming to build on a 2-0 win over Port Vale when they take on Fleetwood Town in the League One round 40. The weekend triumph gave them a confidence boost, but they need to keep on making progress if they are to avoid relegation to League Two. Barring any fresh injury worries, Mark Bonner is unlikely to make changes to the team that defeated the Valiants on Matchday 39.
The Cod Army, on the other hand, are undefeated in the previous four league matches, but with slim playoffs chances. Since Cambridge United are desperate to secure the League One survival, we are tempted to put our money on the home side. A man to watch in the away team will be Jack Marriott, who scored a brace in a 2-2 draw with Exeter, while Ireland defender Corrie Ndaba is widely expected to return to the starting XI.

Born in Cambridge, England on July 31, 1993, Liam O’Neil is an English footballer who plays as both defender as midfielder for Cambridge United in the League Two. O’Neil is a product of the Cambridge United football school, but he played for Histon during his youth career as well.
In the summer of 2012 he joined WBA youth academy, and it has to be noted that he made three appearances for the Baggies at senior level in all competitions. Liam O’Neil played for the likes of VPS and Scunthorpe United on loan as well before joining Chesterfield in 2015.
After scoring two goals in 45 appearances for the club in the league, O’Neil moved to Cambridge United in the winter of 2017. As his mother comes from Wales, O’Neil is open to play for the Wales national team, but he has yet to earn a cap with the Dragons.
