Buoyed by back-to-back wins over Cheltenham and Plymouth, Lincoln will look to give fans yet another reason to celebrate when they take on Port Vale on Matchday 42. The Imps obviously want to finish the season in style, and we are positive that they will adopt an attack-minded approach in Saturday’s clash. Barring any fresh injury worries, Mark Kennedy is unlikely to make changes to the team that Lincoln defeated the Pilgrims on Monday.
The Valiants, on the other hand, failed to win the previous six league matches, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on Lincoln. Romanian forward Dennis Politic is banned for the match, meaning that Ellis Harrison will continue to lead the line for the visiting team. In the first half of the season Port Vale defeated Lincoln 1-0, meaning that the hosts are hungry for revenge.
