Our prediction for this League 2 match:
County Ground will host Tuesday’s football game between Swindon Town and Bradford City, the two top-table sides. The Robins do not seem to be at their sharpest, with the team losing four of their last five league matches, and, as a result, they have absolutely nothing to play for in the remainder of the season. All Shade, Kadji, and Darcy are pushing for spots in the starting XI after the trio came off the bench in a goalless draw with Barrow.
Meanwhile, the Bluebirds aim to build on back-to-back wins over Sutton and Rochdale. Since the Bantams have a chance to climb to top three, we predict that they are going to prove their worth on the field. A man to watch in the visiting team will be talented Scotland winger Scott Banks, who has been producing scintillating performances in the English fourth tier in April.
Highlighted Player (Jonny Williams):
Jonathan Williams is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for the Wales National Team and Charlton Athletic. Born on the 9th of October 1993, the Turnbridge local joined Crystal Palace's youth academy in 2002 and after impressive displays with the reserve team, signed a professional contract with the club in 2011.
He made his first professional appearance for the Eagles on the 16th of August, coming on a substitute in a game against Coventry City. Williams then scored his maiden professional goal a month later in a League Cup game against Wigan Athletic. In total, the dynamic midfielder spent eight years at Palace, making 70 appearances in all competitions for the club. He also had loan spells at Ipswich, Nottingham Forest, Milton Keynes Dons, and Sunderland during that time. On the 4th of January, 2019, the 26-year old joined current club Charlton on an initial six-month deal before rejoining them for the 18/19 season.
Internationally, Williams has capped for Wales under-17, under-18, and under-19 teams before progressing to Wales's senior squad on the 3rd of October, 2011. He made his international debut on the 22nd of March, 2013, as a second-half substitute against Scotland.
Highlighted Team (Bradford):
Founded back in 1903, Bradford City are professional football club that compete in League Two. The Bantams are well known for their claret and amber shirts, whereas white is the dominant colour of their away kit. Bradford City maintain rivalries with Leeds United and Huddersfield Town, with the teams facing each other in the West Yorkshire derby.
The Bantams participated in the Bradford derby with local rivals Bradford Park Avenue in the past. Bradford City did remarkably well to win the FA Cup in 1911, with the team beating Newcastle United in the final. In 2013 the club made it to the League Cup final, where they suffered a heavy 5-0 loss to Swansea City in the title game.
Saint Kitts and Nevis international Ces Poss is the player with most appearances (502) for the club, while former Northern Ireland attacker Bobby Campbell is sitting in the top position in the Bradford City all-time top goalscorers list.
