Following an embarrassing 5-0 loss to Greuther Furth in the season opener, Paderborn will look to give fans some cheer when they welcome Osnabruck to their Home Deluxe Arena on Friday afternoon. Lukas Kwasniok’s troops are a real force to be reckoned with at home, but the lack of confidence could prove to be a big problem for the home side in round 2. Visar Musliu is banned for the match, while both Adriano Grimaldi and Robert Leipertz miss out with injuries.
The Violets, on the other hand, experienced all sorts of problems at the back in a 3-2 defeat to Karlsruher, which is probably the main reason why we are going to bet on over 2.5 goals. In their last meeting in the German second tier the two sides played out a thrilling 2-2 draw and yet another goals galore is on the horizon. Bashkim Ajdini misses out through suspension, while both Emeka Oduah and Timo Beermann are out of contention through injuries.

Welcoming their rivals at Benteler-Arena, Paderborn are a German club that will compete in the Bundesliga in the 2019/2020 season. The club played their first ever match in the German top flight on August 24, 2019, with the team sharing the spoils with Mainz (2-2) in front of home fans.
Benteler-Arena can hold up to 15,000 spectators and it was opened on July 20, 2008.
