Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Saturday’s football game at EnviroVent Stadium pits together Harrogate and Forest Green. The Sulphurites did well to beat Doncaster in their League Two opener, while eliminating Carlisle United in the EFL Cup round 1. Since Harrogate have been impressive at the back of late, a low-scoring affair is on the cards this weekend. Both Jack Muldoon and James Daly return to the starting XI after the duo was rested in the League Cup clash.
The Green Army, on the other hand, aim to make amends for back-to-back defeats to Salford City and Portsmouth, but given Harrogate’s promising start to the season, home win should be considered. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be talented forward Tyrese Omotoye, who found the net in the EFL Cup defeat, while both McAllister and Jones should be recalled to the starting eleven.
Highlighted Player (Dominic Bernard):
After spending his youth career at Tredworth Tigers and Birmingham City, Dom Bernard signed a professional deal with the Blues. However, he did not see any game action with Birmingham City at the senior level as he was instantly sent on loan at Aldershot Town.
After making 35 appearances for the Shots in the league, Dom Bernard joined Forest Green in the summer of 2019. He made his debut with the Green Army against Oldham Athletic on the opening day of the 2019/2020 season. Bernard, who quickly established himself as a first-team regular at Forest Green, has one cap with the Republic of Ireland U18 team while making two appearances with the U17 team.
He was born in Gloucester, England on March 29, 1997, and he wears the number 3 shirt at Forest Green. His main position is right back, but he is capable of producing fine performances as a centre-back as well.
Highlighted Team (Forest Green):
Forest Green are an English club which was founded back in 1889. The Rovers host fellow League Two teams at the New Lawn, the stadium with the capacity of 5,302. Forest Green played their first home league game on October 6, 1889, with the team sharing the spoils with Brimscombe.
