Ferencvaros
Ta’Qali National Stadium will host Thursday’s Conference League qualifier between Hamrun and Ferencvaros, the two teams who meet for the first time in European competitions. Hamrun set up a meeting with Ferencvaros by beating Dinamo Tbilisi in the double-header, but they will have a mountain to climb in the upcoming two-legged tie. Considering that Montenegro forward Uros Djuranovic is banned for the match, we are not going to put our money on the home side this time out.
The Green-Whites, on the other hand, have been scoring goals for fun of late and given their offensive display in a 5-3 triumph over MOL Fehervar, we believe that there is a big value in betting on the visiting side. A man to keep an eye on in the away team will be former Sheriff Tiraspol winger Adama Traore, who is likely to prove a handful for the opposition back-line.

Established back in 1899, Ferencvaros are the most successful Hungarian club. The Zold Sasok clinched their 30th domestic trophy in the 2018/2019 season, but they eventually failed to book their place in the Champions League. Dinamo Zagreb proved to be a big catch for Ferencvaros in the Champions League play-offs, but the Green Eagles booked their spot in the Europa League group stages for the first time ever the same season.
Ferencvaros are well known for their green and white home kit, but they wear white shirts and white shorts when playing on the travels. Ujpest are considered the club’s fiercest rivals, whilst Ferencvaros and MTK Budapest face each other in the Eternal derby.
