Our prediction for this League 2 match:
Stockport County will try to make amends for back-to-back losses to Gillingham and Walsall when they take on Bradford City on Tuesday evening. The Hatters made a slow start to the season, but the midweek game could be the turning point for Dave Challinor’s troops. Midfielder Ryan Rydel is widely expected to return to the starting XI after scoring a consolation goal against Walsall.
The Bantams, on the other hand, aim to build on a 2-1 win over Colchester United, but given their difficulties on the road, we are tempted to bet on Stockport, who are desperate to record their first win of the process. As for the away side, Jamie Walker limped off with injury in the last league match, with Tyler Smith likely to step up. In their last encounter at the venue the two teams played out a boring goalless draw, but home win should be considered this time out.
